How We Think

Why Protocol Transparency Matters in OCPP

OCPP is the protocol that connects chargers to the cloud. Hiding it from operators creates problems. Here's why we expose it.

Most platforms hide the protocol

OCPP is the language chargers speak. But most management platforms abstract it away. You see summaries, not substance. When things break, you are stuck.

Debugging without visibility is guessing

A charger says "Available" but will not charge. Why? Without seeing the actual StatusNotification payloads, you are guessing. Vendor support goes in circles.

We log every message

Every OCPP message — Call, CallResult, CallError — is logged with timestamps and correlation IDs. You can trace exactly what happened and when.

Compliance requires evidence

The OCPP mandate in India means auditors will ask questions. If you cannot show what messages were exchanged, you cannot prove compliance.

Engineers need raw data

Operations teams need dashboards. Engineers need payloads. We give both. The Log Inspector is our differentiator, and we built it because we needed it ourselves.
